The Beginning
Graduating in 1986 with a B.B.A. in Business Management, including an emphasis in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma, Janetta Smith met technology head-on. Early in her career, her focus was to help computer users overcome problems with their computer equipment and the software they were using. The experience and skills she gained allowed her to start her own computer consulting business. Her new company was formed and Smith Consulting opened their doors for business in April 1990.
